What kind of mindpowers does the fatman Rush Limbaugh have?

I'm always fascinated by the mindcontrol he has over his listeners. He has created a whole army of phony conservatives that beat the war drums. How does he do it?

  1. I find it amazing too.Scary but amazing. He is a modern day con man basically. He dropped out of college and suffered from drug addiction. Only in America you can accomplish so much without having anything of substance in you bag. I think people are basically like sheep and if someone beats that drum in the right way, people will follow.

  5. It's all his good jokes about the libs.

    I will admit, it's not that difficult to come up with some good jokes.

  6. Rule 1:: Always attack the ideology or the person, not the plan.  Rush constantly bashes a person or the wide ideology, but never really confronts what is wrong with a plan or why his (the Republicans') is better.

    Rule 2:: Although your personal life suffers and you do not have anyone to love (or Ann Coulter for that matter), deny all attacks.  Attack the attacker with an attack.. not a defense.  Never get defensive.. it makes you appear weak.

    Rule 3:: Say the things many people are thinking, but never really get a chance to say.  By this I mean, say blatant lies that are in line with extreme views.  That way a person will like you no matter what your true self is.  Tell them what they want to hear.

    Rule 4:: Create divisions that aren't really there.  A person can instigate a rift between two other people by telling one side what it wants to hear while attacking the other person's ideology.. not the person himself.

    Rule 5:: People who fervently support religion will also fervently support other causes.  Lots of Republicans are poor and uneducated (as are Dems) and constantly vote against their best interest because the Republican party strikes an emotional chord with them.  Kinda like abortion.  Too bad the Reps will never overturn it.  If they happen to do so, they would lose a hardcore voting bloc.

    Rule 6:: Play up how superior Americans or listeners are to the rest of the world.  Inflate their ego so they will not easily accept other views.
