Question:

What kind of money did they use in France in 1999?

I need it for a writing assinment and the setting is France and I need to know what money they used in France in 1999(March 10,1999 to be exact). I think it is Euro currently , but i'm not sure if it was the same then because they changed it recently.

    because it was euro for banks and international exchanges, but Franc coins for people, until 1/1/2002.

    its the same in other european countries.

    remember 1 € = 6.55957 FF
