  1. If you step up to an ATM machine with your ATM card and ask for one thousand pesos, it will give you the right kind of pesos--about one hundred dollars worth.

  2. Mexican pesos

  3. pesos...normal mexican pesos

  4. Ive lived here about 2 years now and have never seen anything but a peso.

    Coins are .50 , 2 , 5 and 10

    Bills are 20 , 50 , 100 , 200 , 500

One strange custom is 100 pesos bill and up, they will really look for tears and writing and NOT take them - its strange. In other countries they are no where near as picky about the condition but here THEY ARE !

Easy conversion to dollars is divide by 10.

If your comming down and need some help just link over to me and ask away.

They are Mexican pesos, I realize other countries have pesos but are different than Mexican if that answers your question

  5. Mexican pesos. but US dollars are very widely excepted in the tourist shops.

  6. Acapulco is in mexico. Therefore, they use the standard mexican unit of money, pesos. The US dollar is stronger than a peso. USD is widely excepted in many shops in Mexico and Acapulco but if your in a rural area don't expect them to know what a dollar is. LOL. That's my best advice. Have fun in Acapulco, I know I loved it there :] Easy conversion to dollars from pesos is divide by 10.BTW other countries have pesos besides Mexico.

  7. Those with the eagle in the back you dumb#$$
