  1. None.  In CT you need a license with an "M" endorsement, and you can't get that at 16 unless you already have a license.

    Obtaining a Motorcycle Permit:

To obtain a motorcycle permit you must be at least 16 years of age and have a valid driver's license.

The following documents are required to obtain a motorcycle permit:

    Driver's License.

Certificate of Parental Consent (form 2-D) with a notarized seal if under the age of eighteen or parent, legal guardian, spouse over 18 years of age.

Application for a Non-Commercial Driver's License (form-R229), which can be completed at the time of the test.

$40 testing fee (see acceptable forms of payment).

    $15 motorcycle permit fee.

  2.   None.

  3. you need a permit for a motorcycle and someone licensed to drive a motorcycle. the person needs to be on the bike with you or in a car following you. you cannot ride on your own. also, you need a driver's license before you can legally get your permit for a motorcycle. you could get a dirt bike and ride on someone's property (with permission). you still have to shift and everything
