  1. Remove your teeth surgically , all of 'em, then get dentures. By doing this you will never have to worry about losing them, and play real good rugby.

  2. double

    it protects all teeth

  3. Definitely single, I have never seen anyone wear a double mouth guard in rugby.

I would avoid anything that you can buy off the shelf. Spend a few more quid and get your dentist to mold one to fit your teeth. Look after it well and it will last for seasons. This type will have indentations that fit your lower teeth too so will give some protection to your lower teeth, but probably most likely to stop your teeth splitting your lips (mmmmm nice!)

  4. single. i played rugby for 12 years and everyone uses a single one

  5. Neither is "better" than the other, it comes down to personal preference.

Whatever type you decide on, have it made by a dentist, the off-the-shelf types are worthless pieces of rubbish.

I know loads of guys that wear doubles, but personally I prefer a single.

  6. I wear a single for Rugby. Gilbert brand. I have never tried a 2 pc so I can't really give advise on that one. My guess is that it might be a bit "overkill" and make it hard to communicate on the fly???
