What kind of movies are played on board of a Royal Caribbean cruise?

Please help. Are the movies new releases or a few months old?

No, they usually are not new movies but they aren't like from the 50's either! We just got off Empress of the Seas and our kids saw Shark boy and Lava girl and then my teenager got to pick movies and I believe saw Sisterhood of the traveling pants, shes the man and the goonies. We also saw a few movies that were about a year old but were still good!

The movies are a few months old as I recall.  I was just on the Monarch of the Seas in December and I did watch a move or two, but I don't remember the name of the movie.  However, I do recall it was not a new release.

Catching a movie on board is fun and usually they are ones that have just been in the theater.  I have seen many on board that I wanted to see in the theater but never had the time so they are not that old.  You will get a schedule in your room of times.

well if you go to an activity with a movie, they are a few months old,  but they give the audience a choice. i went in june, and my brother watched talladaga nights.

however, if you mean in room movies, then thats a varies. you can pay to watch a newer release,but they do have movies for free. they do play the same movie over and over, such as shrek two and the old willy wonka
