  1. You really don't need music, it won't be heard because everyone will be talking. If you feel you must, then have an easy listening station or a jazz station for background noise.

  2. I agree with Siggy.... It's not like anyone is going to be dancing. They'll be mingling, eating and helping you open your gifts as they oooh and aaah!

    Congrats on the baby!

  3. I would just stream an internet radio station w/o commerical interruptions on something that encompasses both rap and rock and just have it playing but not too loud.

I dont recall baby-showers I've atteneded having any music.

Maybe I just haven't been to THAT kind of shower! :P

  4. something peaceful

    like this..

  5. There isn't really a certain type of music that has to be played at baby showers.  If you have people who like rock, rap, country, and jazz, make a compilation CD of a little bit of everything.  This way everyone is happy.  Also, just play it softly for background noise.  It doesn't need to be a raging party.

  6. Maybe you don't need music. You can always go for a low volume of anything, but a babyshower is a time to talk and open gifts and is pretty low-key, at least usually. :)

  7. I wouldn't play music. Baby showers are usually about talking to everyone, opening gifts, and playing games. Music may get in the way.
