  1. of course you should always be considerate of your guests!  We will be playing what we like as well as some other types of music both country, rock, christian, ez listening, blues.  Really a bit of everything.  It is only being a good host to be considerate of your guests likes and dis-likes

  2. You typically want your guest to dance so playing music that they like would be required for them to do that & enjoy themselves. You should play a little of everything disco, hip hop, songs with a dance routine in it like (The Macarena or The Twist) etc.....etc.... Good luck !!

  3. Of course you should play something your family will like too, but there must be some songs you like that you know they will.  Don't play anything you hate it's still your day.  For example: I can't stand Justin Timberlake but he is my sister's fave singer, I'm not playing a single song of his.  There are other songs she likes she can go home and put on her mp3 if she can't go 4 hours without hearing him. lol (that sounds rude, I didn't mean it that way).

  4.   our reception is going to have a little bit of everything.  my family loves classic rock and so do i since i grew up listening to it, so were gonna have a lot of that...but my fiance and i are metalheads so of course we're going to incorperate that as well.  our first dance is to "seize the day" by avenged sevenfold. we also have a number of other slower and more mellow metal songs we can play picked out as well so theres enough to last the whole night and please everybody. the only rules we have set down is NO country (no one in my family likes it), NO chicken dance, and NO YMCA or macarana or anything like that.  we all just really dislike those songs and the fact that they are played at EVERY wedding just about

you should play something for everyone.  most of my reletives are over 50 and wouldnt know what to do on the dance floor if metal music started playing, so we're gonna do something for everyone.
