What kind of needle?

ok so I'm gonna pierce my ear TODAY! I've done both my ears already by myself...but I didn't use a needle to pierce them...I just used an earring n pushed it through without doing anything...n now I want to pierce my cartilage...and I was wondering, do I use one of those sewing needles or what? And do you think its safe to pierce my belly button? or should I wait until I'm 18? Thanx a bunch! O yea, and I'm 13 if u want to no...

OMG why are you doing your cartilage yourself??  I mean, I did my third ear hole myself but it wasn't cartilage and it was really hard.  

Just tell you mom either you're going to do it by yourself or she should take you.  Then she'll probably take you.

Btw, don't do your belly.  It's definitely out of style.

Peircing yourself is not a good idea especially if your only 13. You should definetly see a peircer( a reputable one) and have them do it. Peircing things yourself leads to infection, just because it didnt get infected the first time around doesnt mean youll be lucky enough the second.

omg dont use a safety pin it is extremly painful that way iv pierced my cartiledge 5 times.. and when i used the safety needles ithurt the most. lol.

id recomend buyin a piercing needle or goin somewher professional. or look around for clean underground places thats what i did after my first 3 and they look great now

Go to a pro place for the cartilage that is a serious piercing. Dont do it yourself.

Belly is serious too just go to a pro place for those. Butfor the belly buy a hollow needle if you wish to pierce that yourself, a sewing needle is too thin and you wont get the jelwery through.

i pierce my ears all the time but ive yet to do my cartilage but a sewing needle would work or a safety pin. belly button i would wait for but if you want

you  should be  very  careful  i  would  personally  go  to   a professional  piercer   that  sounds  kinda   dangerous  and  if  your  trying  to  pierce  your  cartilage   on  your  ear  with  a  needle  by  your   self   good  luck  that  really  hurts  i  just  went  and  got  mine  done
