  1. Although I lived and worked in Berlin, "Otto-von-Bismarck" doesn't tell me anything. There's a U-Bahn (subway) station "Bismarckstraße" however. If you mean that, that's in Charlottenburg district (or maybe on the edge of Tiergarten district, they're close to each other). The Deutsche Oper is there somewhere. Charlottenburg district is a middle class neighborhood, sometimes upper middle class, not many working class people there, and (for a big city like Berlin) very few immigrants. As far as I know it, that is. I used to live in the immigrants' quarters (Kreuzberg mostly) when I was a student; and why give up a cheap flat and the Turkish 'hood you like so much?

  2. I am not sure... There is an Otto-von-Bismarck-Allee in Tiergarten. The Swiss embassy lies there. And the neighborhood, well... it's only government bulidings there.

Then there is the Otto-von-Bismarck memorial which is also in Tiergarten on the border of the park. It's all embassy buildings around there, not very many people actually live there...
