What kind of objects ships with freight companys?

Ive just started my first real job with a freight company and I have no idea about what kind of objects or materials are used with shipping companys.

Mainly packaged goods and merchandise including machinery , toys, food stuff, ready food, hardware  etc. etc. everything needs to be moved from point of production to the actual user. All items thus requires movement are business of a freight company.
