What kind of offense can land you in jail for under a week?

A lot of times you hear about people getting one day in jail, or spending only a few days in county, but what offenses warrant such a short amount of jail time is a little hard to understand. What offenses are these that are obviously not that serious yet still mandate or usually mandate a small stint behind bars?

Probably half killing an OAP or a small FIRE because MURDER IS AT LEAST ^    6  MONTHS !!!!!

Unpaid ticket. They give maybe $50-$100 per day. So an unpaid speeding ticket that cost $250 plus the warrant fee, maybe $150.... If they do $100 per day= 4 full days in jail. Time served.

In a lot of cases, the minor jail sentences are because the person has already spent a lot of time in pre-trial custody, for which they usually receive credit on a 2 for 1 basis.
