Any on line business has the potential to hit it big.  That all depends on the amount of effort and work and how you apply yourself to your business.  If you do none of this, then there is no potential.  There's a few different things you need to do in any business rather it's on line of not, and that's to market it in different ways.  If you don't market it, then you won't go anywhere.  You may by luck make a couple of dollars, but without building your business, you won't make much money at all.

Have you looked into different industries where you can collaborate with companies and have your own on line business with?  A business within a business is one idea for you.  Same income opportunity as your own business, but you don't have all the over head expenses, so it's more of a profit margin for you.  You have to do the same things with marketing it though.

There's an article I recommend you reading on home based business opportunities.  It's for on line as well as off line businesses.  Several industries to look into as well for a few ideas.
