What kind of oportunities could come to me for catching a state record largemouth bass?

You would have a lot more opportunities if you had caught the world record bass. But a state record would be great as well. First you should look up the record online. Make sure to use official scales to weigh the fish. If you get the record, contact certain tackle companies and they may give you a certain sum of money if you claim you caught the big one on their specific rod, reel, line, or lure. There is a lot of information on this topic in the Bassmaster Magazine. The June 2007 issue.
