What kind of oyster i should have ?

Hi

Iam going to start a course for one year..ina college..I need to take the bus for 1 hour to reach it..or maybe two buses ..anyway ..

I will go to college maybe 2 to 4 days per week ..

what is the best thing to buy ..

use the oyster use the adult rate ??

or ?? ?? what kind of oyster..there are so many deals !

Iam part time..max : 14 hour per week ..

please help about it..cause i really dont know what to have !

iam over 18 ..

  1. If you're only going in 2-4 days a week, then it depends on your travel the rest of the time, if you use bus/tube much outside of college the a weekly/monthly pass might be a good idea.

    If you only need one bus to get in, a pay-as-you-go Oyster might be a good idea, as a bus trip is only about 90p each way, so a return trip would be £1.80, if you went 2 times a week thats still only £7.20.


  2. if you are 18/19 you will get free travel on the buses with a photocard signed by your school. If you are 19-21 you will get a photocard for being in full time education which entitles you to 30% adult rate buses passes for a week, month, year and all travel cards. But you still pay adult rate on the buses and train. So if you are 19 upwards get a buse pass for the week which is like £15.60 and you can get that for £10.92  

  3. If you use the bus/tube more often than just to college you should get a student pass. The monthly ones are great.
