What kind of pain med can I give a duck?

I have a baby duck who is injured and in pain... is there anything otc that i can give him?

.22 to the back of the head?

Just keep it warm and quiet in low light.  Nothing you can give it, but mother nature has a way of increasing the endorphins and taking care of pain in little creatures.  If you let it rest quietly, that will bring it more pain relief than anything else.
