What kind of paint could you use to paint the outside of a tennis racquet?

I have a friend who plays and teaches tennis and would like to have the same design that is on his main racquet repeated on his other racquets. The paint would need to withstand much wear and tear.

  1. Don't know why anyone would want to do that?  Seems odd to me.  I thought I'd chime in because while I suppose it's possible, it would totally mess up the frame.  Today's racquets are built with such tight tolerances that even a fraction of an ounce makes a difference.  You start stripping down a frame and you not only change the weight, you stand a chance of damaging the structural integrity of the frame.  Then when you repaint it, if more paint collects in one area, it could throw off the balance - again, we're talking fractions of an ounce.  I find it odd that someone who teaches tennis wouldn't know this.  Why not just buy more of his main racquet?

  2. make sure the tenns racquet is sanded smooth with 400 grit sand paper then clean it witha tac rag to get off dust. then coat it with oil base polyurethane satin or gloss finish.

  3. "main racquet"? what does that mean?

most people buy several rackets, all the same make and model.

use the same paint that's on the "main racquet".

  4. im not really sure but maybe he should go into a pro shop or research online.
