What kind of paint for baby footprints?

I wanted to make little footprints on paper for my daughter. She is due Sept 5th. What kind of paint will be gentle enough for her sensitive baby skin? Should i just use waterbase fingerpaint and wash it immediatly following? Or is there a special paint for this?

I used acrylics recently but my son is 12 weeks. It worked well. Came right off with a baby wipe after.

Fingerpaint or tempera will be fine.  Paint it on with a paintbrush, and press the footprints onto paper, and then stick her foot in a shallow tub of water with baby soap to wash it off quickly.

It will be fine.
