I'm planning on decorating some hats, but I'm not sure what kind of paint to use. Or maybe it doesn't need to be paint but just something that would come out nicely and decent. Also what kind of gloss should I use?

Thank you~ =)

  4. The acrylic paint in the craft section at walmart or craft store its called apple barrel is universal. It can be used on just about anything. After you paint just spray the hats with clear acrylic spray paint to seal it and give it shine! That's how I would do it.

  5. What is the hats made of would have helped with a good answer.

Gloss is mentioned so perhaps you have plastic? Fabric? Felt? woven grass?

also if they are smooth or have a pile/rough to them?

    Fabric paints are available.

Felt appliques.(make your own is possible)

mod-podge with nice paper of your choice.(orange labled is the high gloss modpodge which will seal your hats also.)
