Question:

What kind of palm is this?

They were planted 2 weeks ago, and seem to grow very fast. I think it might be Roystonea regia. Can anyone help me out?

All the seeds have a single very long root.

  1. Considering they're growing as fast as they are, I'll say yes there's a big chance it might be Roystonea regia. It's a very fast growing palm, and when you have planted the seeds you will get results very quickly.


  2. Most palms will develop that spike which will eventually form into the frond.  It's too early to tell what species that is from the picture.
