After college i plan on moving to france i want to know what kind of papers i need to get started with when i go to the french consulate.

    You should be aware from the start that it is not just a matter of showing some documents. You must be APPROVED by the French government and there is no guarantee that you will be.

    If you wish to move to France to find employment there is a good chance you will be refused.


  2. A good solution is to do the Language Assistantship program sponsored by the French Embassy. You are given the right to work in France for 7 months, you get paid enough to live on, and lots of opportunity to travel!

    i did this for 2 years after college...and now I'm established in France with my French husband with the same right to work as French people.
