What kind of part time job is good for 19 years old uni student in Sydney Australia?

I worked at Liquorland and then Myer for a while, as a sales assistant. I found the ColesMyer group (as they were then) to be really accommodating to students. One of my friends works at K-Mart and another at Coles doing night fill and they say the same. The pay was reasonable, too.

Try working on the internet. There are lots of P/T jobs available from your home. My company is always hiring people from around the world to help. You can totally find an e-mail responding job and really live anywhere and be sitting anywhere doing your job.

Try a supermarket, restaurant waiting, or fast food joint... not glamourous but generally flexible and ok paid.  Or if you don't mind missing out on your weekend try a bar job.

In California, if you like kids, then working at an after school program or day care is a good part time job.  Or how about working at a family owned restaurant...they look after you better than fast food places.
