  1. Having 3 grandkids under 4-1/2, I'd NEVER suggest Sloppy Joes!  They're messy enough, as it is:)  ...  Chicken fingers and Tater Tots ... Pigs in a Blanket ... Taco Salad ...  Fruit Salad ... Veggie platter with Ranch dressing  ... Lemonade (it doesn't stain)

  2. My best idea is peanut butter and jelly sandwiches cut into shapes with cookie cutters. For example, my daughter wanted a little mermaid party so I made peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and cut them out with a fish shaped cookie cutter, get it... peanut butter and jelly fish sandwiches! LOL! The kids loved them. Oh and goldfish crackers of course.

  3. I would serve finger food for the kids.Like instead of a cake, have cupcakes. And instead of pizza, do cut-up hotdogs fried in barbeque sauce, or tiger dogs maybe. You want as little mess as possible =)

  4. What does your 3yr old like? It also depends on what you feed your child. Small cupcakes are good or hot dogs and fries. Something healthier could be carrot stick or celery and peanut butter.Whatever you make, be sure to have plenty of handy wipes nearby.

  5. well for my son, we made some mini pizzas on hamburger buns... we also had carrot sticks, black olives, cherry tomatoes and broccoli with ranch dip, bowls of goldfish crackers and a platter of fresh fruit with a vanilla yogurt dip.

the kids love the fact that they can dip..

veggie and fruit trays are easy enough for the yogurt dip I got a container of vanilla yogurt and mixed in just a touch  of cinnamon.

you can buy all beef hot dogs in pouches that are mini, get some biscuts in the tub and cut in to strips, wrap the dogs and make piggys in a blanket.. or something my kids LOVE is trim of the crust from 2 pieces of bread and place them so that the edges of one side of each over lap a bit, roll flat with a rolling pin and smear peanut butter or nuttela on then place a whole banana in the middle and roll it up.. use a sharp knife to slice them about 1 inch thick..

Finger foods: chicken wings or chicken fingers, salad, fruits, veggies for the adults, grilled cheese, tacos, hamburgers, hotdogs, turkey sandwiches, peanut butter and jelly.

no sorry dont know what a tiger dog is try googling it.

  7. try soft, finger foods so the little kids won't choke. some suggestions are mini sandwiches, jello, fruit salad, and juice or punch. NO SODA. trust me.
