What kind of pellets can you feed a alligator gar?

I have a 75 gallon tank and the gar is 11 inches long and very cool! Love it

You have an alligator gar?  Wow, cool.  How big is your tank anyway?  Those things can get well over 6 feet long and 200 pounds.  Or maybe you have it in a large pond.  That would be best.

Their preferred food in the wild is live fish, so I'm not sure they would eat pellets.

hikari cichlid gold is good for tropical and aggressive fish such as alligator gars but if he/she doesnt eat them get its favorite food and gutload them with the hikari cichlid gold and also if the alligator gar eats cooked shrimp before you feed it to the gar stuff it with pellets and the gar most likely will eat it.
