Like I mean in the crowd, they all seem to be really posh and well spoken when ever they are getting interviewed, they dont have a normal common english accent..

  1. Tennis is quite posh in Britain - generally middle class people play it.

Wimbledon Tickets for the Centre Court and No1 courts are hard to come by; there is a ballot for tickets each year ( i have been unlucky the last 3 years).  However there are a lot of debenture tickets - which are like shares in Wimbledon. Each debenture costs around £30,000 for 5 years and you get a ticket for each day of the championships. The tournament is largely financed this way - the All England Club is a private tennis club - and thats why there is no adverts in the stadium apart from some names on suppliers equipment

Yes you could go - either apply in the Ballot - or queue up and go into the ground. Ground tickets are only sold on the day about 20,000 each day are sold.

They do sell about 500 tickets each day for Centre and No1 but you have to queue over night.
