What sort of socio-economic class are most of the resaidents? What kind of jobs do most of the nhabitants do for a living? Are most of the people English and white or do these places have vibrant ethnic communities? What are these towns specifically noted for? Are they nce places to live or will you die of boredom? 1. Isnt this known as the 'stockbroker belt'?!

Yes, mainly white and the only ethnic communities in evidence will be those employed by Indian and Chinese restaurants.

The towns are noted for the stinking rich who live there.

The quintessential Southern English in a sort of time warp.

Drive through some of the roads through Esher that are not gated or private and you will get an idea of what you can buy when you hit the lottery jackpot.

You will not die of boredom. You will die of alcoholic poisoning through too many gin and tonics.

  2. rich anymore!  "vibrant ethnic communities"?  I think you would have to be a blt closer in to town for that (or go to Hounslow...)

I used to live in Kingston down the street, now I couldn't afford to rent a garden shed there.

The Waggon & Horses in Surbiton used to be good....I think it's a bit swankier now than it used to be.
