  1. he will make andrew jones look like the punk he is! jones will get waived by dodgers with manny there now!

  2. Nice question, finally someone who mentions Torre lol, I think he definetly wont get along with him, and Manny will be surprised when hes acting like an arrogant *** that Torre wont still be happy to put him on the field for his playing.  Torre wont take any c**p from him, I'm just sorry he has to put up with him at all.

  3. I think Manny will play well, especially since he'll be a FA after this season. He wants to impress so he'll get another huge contract.

As for the Dodgers now having 5 Outfielders for 3 spots. That's going to be tough. Andruw Jones is by far the worst of the bunch so i'd expect him to get the least playing time. Maybe you could move ethier or Kemp to an infield position?

  4. i tell yah... when he is motivated nobody is better... his is a smart patent hitter, not great with 2 strikes but he sees a lot of pitches...

Joe Torre is the perfect manager for him. Joe is a players manager and a baseball player, Manny is a baseball player.

Manny is magical in the playoffs.

  5. I'm sure Manny will be fine. Joe Torre dealt with some of the biggest egos in the game while managing the Yankees so managing Manny won't be a problem.

Production wise, Dodger Stadium isn't the friendliest of home run parks. Manny will probably do most of his damage on the road.

  6. He will get along with torre. He will also play his @** off because the Red Sox and Manny were growing tired of each other. Also Manny wanted to receive I believe $20 million from the Sox instead of the $7 million he was getting.

  7. His abilities come with him and he should give the Dodgers some much needed "pop" in the middle of the lineup.  If he plays the game up to his abilities he shouldn't have any problems with Torre.

  8. He probably won't get along with a lot of people including Joe Torre, because he's not very well liked. His performance will be what it has always been, he'll hit, and that's it. He's a good hitter, but not a good overall offensive player, and he's not going to boost the defense of the Dodgers by any means, especially having to cover a left field that isn't the size of one in little leagues.
