  1. I do not think that there are any differences between the three. The parent(s) need to be loving, understanding, patient, and willing to be there for their children no matter what (whether biological, foster, or adopted)

  2. A good parent is someone who can put the needs of the child ahead of their own wants/needs.  It is someone who provides unconditional love and support regardless of the situation or regardless of how they became a parent.

A good parent may not always agree with the choices a child makes, but he/she will be there to support the child to the best of their ability.  A good parent will worry every time their child walks out the door and breathe a sigh of relief every time they arrive back home.

Good parenting is not a job that has a completion date or one that you can retire from.  It's a lifelong process - even after your children have children of their own.  And the truth is, I don't think that many of the "good parents" truly believe that they are "good" parents.  They would never take the credit for what they've accomplished.

  3. Someone who puts their children first and is loving toward them (can also fully emotionally support them and financially take care of the basic needs).  No difference between any type of parent for me.

  4. Unconditional love & understanding.

  5. A caring and loving person makes the best parent.

  6. A good parent would have to love there child more than anything and no matter what. Also, that parent would have to know how to forgive easily because children are gonna make mistakes but the only thing you can do as a parrent is forgive them. Also a good parent would have to have patience and know how to listen

  7. A parent is a parent biological or not. I'd say a parent is good if they can provide the child with what they need and are prepared for anything. they should also be calm, patient, and mature.

  8. The kind of person who makes a good parent is someone who genuinely cares about the child(ren) in their care.  A good parent also is willing to do everything they can to provide for their children.

As for any big differences between the kinds of parents that you listed....  There is no big difference between biological and adoptive parents.  As for foster parents, I'd say the big difference is that they aren't always very stable and children need a stable parental figure.  Foster kids get shuffled through the system all the time and it is very damaging.

  9. Unconditional Love from 1, 2 , or 3.

Unconditional Love is the BIG difference.

  10. yes i think there is a big difference between the three. I think the kind of person that makes a good parent is some one who cares for the child and loves them with all there heart. someone who would give some time to be with their child.

  11. Not 1, 2, or 3 should matter. You should treat the child just like s/he's your own child. You need love, even if your child has done something bad. you need to treat your children equally.

  12. Simply put acceptance. If you have this all other things will fall into place.

This answer would apply to ALL three in a myriad of circumstances..
