What kind of pet should i get? Breed?

I want a cute, energetic, playful pet but i don't know what to get. Suggestions?

well a dog is awesome exspesilly labradoodles perfect dog and dosnt shed

not cats they are not always playful and fun

hampsers are perfect but they sleep in the day a little

I suggest a puppy and for breed get a toy poodle. They are adorable, small so u cud easily bring them on a plane and such, and they are very smart and playful pets.

All dogs are energetic and playful -- you're best getting one which suits your envirnonemt, e.g please dont get a great dane or a large breed dog if you live in an appartment. Make sure you choose a pet that you're willing to commit to and one which suits your lifestyle. A dog is an awesome pet to get if you want cute, energetic and playful but make sure you assess your living conditions and your level of commitment you're willing to put out before hand.

I would suggest going to a local animal shelter.  Dog's are good but are more work than cats.  If you can find a playful cat they are just as good as dogs.  If you are wondering about dog breeds here are some:

Small dogs are harder to train then larger dogs.

Small:

shih tzu- Advantage-very loveable disadvantage-stubborn at times

a good price for a shih tzu is no more than 350$ a good price though is 300$

Miniature Daushaund- very loving the best price you will probably find is either 350$ or 400$ and make sure you know the dog is healthy because there are breeders out there that try to sell you sick dogs

Jack Russell Terriers- the problem is that you can find good ones but others bark a lot.

Large:

Golden Retrievers- overall excellent dog

Chocolate Lab-Good Family dog

Collie-Loyal dog
