What kind of pets can live in a 29g aquarium? (other than fish)

I would like to add a new pet to my family. I'm still in the research stage - but do know that It would need to be in a 29g aquarium.

What are some pets that can live in that small of a space?

Some of the smaller snakes, like corns or kings can. So can a number of lizards like many geckos. Also things like scorpians, milipedes, giant land snails, hermit crabs, or newts and salamanders. Most of these actually need a minimum of 10 gallons, so with 29 you will be making them very happy.
