  1. F-4 has a very unique shape. The only thing close would be its predecessor, the F-3.

  2. The phantom had a pretty unique look I would say that it stands out as a solo.

  3. So far no plane looks like it, nose and wings are unique.

  4. When  I watched "Iron Eagle" I believe it was a Mig-28 that looked nearly identicle to an F-4.

  5. Sorry, but there's nothing else out there that resembles an F-4 Phantom II.

  6. The F-4 is in a class of it's own....No look alikes out there...my old chief pilot was an F-4 driver in vietnam..and he raved about it....said they were really easy to flame out...anyway...good question..

  7. My husband, knower of all things winged, says there isn't one. The Russians didn't even try to copy it. He said the F-1 doesn't have the wings. It has an unusual profile of the wings.

    Sorry- I tried.

  8. The F-4 is an apparition that is rather unique.

The closest will be the SEPECAT Jaguar. Or atleast there are some similarities in the tail and exhaust region. If the Jaguar had lower wings and larger intakes, then it would have more resemblance.

  9. I agree with the other answers about the F-4's

unique shape, not too many come close,

Drooped nose, upturned wingtips, huge intakes....

But one airplane came to mind,

    the F-3H Demon, the aircraft

    the F-4 replaced.

Superficially it's large, twin engines, similar

markings, intakes at the wingroot. Maybe.

and of course it was made by McAir.

    Other aircraft possibilities:

F-11F Tiger - intakes at wingroot? Similar paint scheme.

    Much smaller plane though.
