What kind of plant fungus is white with red dots, its fuzzy like a cotton ball, and round...?

i found these white balls in the woods while walking, they are fuzzy lookin and they have red dots on them, its not a mushroom its like a flower, i live in sc if thats any help...

It's hard to tell for sure without a picture, but it sounds like you found a species of fungi Lycoperdales or puffballs.
