What kind of plant is this?

There is a plant that has been growing next to my house that I have never seen before. It gets mostly shade and not a lot of water. It must be some kind of weed, it has what looks like buds but it never bloomed.

  3. Not a Monarda but a escapee called Motherwort. Leonurus cardiaca. Like monarda it's a member of the Mint Family.It an aggressive herb that can take over a lot of the garden. The name refers to it's use to help complications in pregnant women. The buds are going to open to purple-pink flowers.
