What kind of plug wires for Hooker Headers Straight or 90 degree?

Chevy 4x4 1978 and have hooker headers. Will the 90degree plugs work or where can i find the straight ended plug wires? What kinds to get? Not ACCEL. Thanks

First of all, the header manufacturers don't make recommendations on what type of plug wires to use, as was said before. They only specify if the headers can be used with angle plug heads or not. That said, most of the time, straight boots work better with headers than the 90*. They allow more room between the boot and the header primary tube, so that the boots won't melt. I've always had good luck with Accel products, but, if you're dead set against them, Mallory and Taylor are good, although, they can get expensive. Summit and Jegs also market their own house brands if price is a concern. If you have an extreme heat situation, you can also get protectors for the boots. They are made of fiberglass and are usually good up to 1200 degrees.
