What kind of pokemon do you need to get to beat the pokemon league in pokemon pearl??

What kind of pokemon do you need to get to beat the pokemon league in pokemon pearl??

I used:

1st Time

Grass - Roselea

Rock - Graveler

Flying - Staraptor

Dragon - Palkia

Water - Empoleon

Electric - Luxray

All were level 54

Try to carry at least 10 Full Restores and I had 20 Hyper Potions.

I only used my Restores if I had a status problem

if pearl use palkia and if possible train a starter aswell then the other 4 i wud have a sneasle as its strong and if possible get  a razor claw from trade and raise level at night so it evolves into weavile then i wud suggest toxicroak witch u can get in greatmarsh or get croagunk instead and evolve it then for some strong flying type which u will need against 1st and cynthia and few odd pokemon i wud get staraptor and teach brave bird bnut only u se wen weak or at the end so u can be sure to take out the opponent then a pokemon strong against ground (2nd in elite 4) use strong grass or ground moves like a roseade or steelix hope this helps.

well the first guy uses bug type so bring a fire or flying

2- ground-bring water or grass type

3-fire-water or rock

4-psychic- bring dark type
