What kind of pound currency do I need?

I am going to England and Wales and I am wondering what kind of pound currency I need?

there is only 1 type of currency. Just like we in America have nickels,pennies, and dollar bills, ect. they have pents, pounds/notes. I was over in Wales for about 9 or 10 days and the currency hasn't hard to learn at all. Just check the ratio to learn how much to use or bring.

there is only one type of currency here

the Pound Sterling. it's used through out the whole of the UK
