I bought some Matcha at Teavana but it doesn't mix as well as it does at Starbucks. It stays very clumpy. Thanks for your help!

  1. Starbucks uses Tazo Matcha Green Tea powder.  I have found it available in 1kg packages at http://matcha-greentea.com/starbucks-mat...  It is a low grade matcha but works very well for frappuccinos and lattes.

  2. They use Tazo, but any powdered Matcha is basically the same...

It may be the way you are preparing it...what drink are you making?  The Green Tea Latte?  We had Melon syrup and hot water to it to disolve the powder before adding milk...anytime anyone asks for it without water it's really clumpy.

  3. tazo. try adding a little hot h20 to the matcha and mixing it  before adding in the milk.
