  1. I have had poor relutls with Kilz.

I use Zinsser Bulls Eye 123.  It has shellac in it and will totally seal the wallpaper so no color comes through.  You can even have Lowe's tint it for you to the color you'll be painting.

    then paint with latex.

  2. remove wallpaper 4 best results

  3. a product called kiltz at lowes. then latex paint

  4. There is a special place in h**l for people who paint over wallpaper! It only takes one extra day to take of the old paper and properly prep the walls for paint. And you won't have the added expense of priming over the paper. You will be much happier with the end result if you do it right in the first place.

  5. I would certanily recommend removing the wall paper.  You can hardly ever paint over wall paper and make it look right.  They have these new products that you wet the paper and it comes right off.  Go to the wall paper section at Wal-Mart and they have it in roll cans.  It has a roller on it to make it easier to apply.  I just think you will be more happy with the paint,  if you remove the paper.  Good Luck....

  6. I would take the wall paper off the wall before priming ,it's not that bad, just peel the top layer off, fill stay bottle with hot water and spry on the bottom layer to soften the glue , scrape it off and wash the wall down with TSP, repair the walls if it needs to first , then prime and paint .
