What kind of problem does my car have If I feel the car shaking more frequently when it goes through bumps?

Well basically what happens is that I can feel my car wobble/shake every time I would drive over a road that is not evenly flat, especially on bumpy roads... I remember I ran into a hole and week ago and felt the car shook. Two days after the problem started happening.

I did a bounce test and applied force to the front and back bumpers of the car and it stay still after one bounce so I figured that was fine... however when I applied force to the side of the vehicle where the door was, it would bounce 2-3 times before it would stay still...

I purchased the vehicle two months so its still under warranty, however the reason I ask this question is because I dont know much about cars and would like to know what could be the possible problem and what to expect before I head into the Lexus dealership. Thanks.

1.Some cars come with sway bars which hook to the front wheel lower mounting bracket,that is held on by rods with bushings,sometimes those rods will rust and break,so i would see if your car has these.that can make a car unstable2.you might just need new struts on the front,or shocks on the back.
