What kind of projcet can i do for the hurricane disaster relief?

I'm in the American Red Cross Club at my school and i need to come up with a certain project to do concerning the Hurricane Disaster relief. I was wondering if anyone would like to give me some ideas?

Call some local promoters and try to get them to donate tickets to events that your school mates would like to attend (tell them it's for hurricane disaster relief).  You will have to legitimize your project, but it should not be hard for the promoters to contact the school to validate your participation.  

Then you can begin a drive for clothes, canned goods, etc...and give it a snazzy name based on the tickets you receive.  Like, Rock the Relief!  (with rock concert tickets to contributers).  

Every time someone donates, they can receive the equivalent of a raffle ticket.  The more they donate, the more raffle tickets they receive.  At the end, u can have a drawing for tickets.  

That's my idea...for what it's worth :)
