What kind of puppy for me?

Question

I live in a apartment (spacious), looking for a dog, but not sure what kind i should get. I work 8-5, but am able to come home during lunch almost everyday and have very little plans after work, since i live by myself. Also, i am looking for a dog that does not make a lot of noise, can do tricks/fetch and does not shed. Any help? Thanks

Cavalier King Charles Spaniel are nice dogs.  My mum had one for many years. They do have longer hair but nice and calm temperament.  

Also I believe Boston Terrier's are nice dogs.  However I haven't owned one myself.

No offense, but your lifestyle just isn't right for a dog-owner. You need to be home a little bit more than you can be, so I'm sorry but please listen. Wait it out to get a pup.

Almost any breed can work for you.  You just have to make time on weekends.  A Beagle or Rat Terrier, comes to mind.  All dogs shed.  And the tricks they do are based on what you teach them.  Even larger dogs can work for you.  Take the Mastiff for example, they are HUGE dogs, upwards of 250 pounds. But, they are lazy and laid back, and fine in an apartment.  It just all depends.  Go to a pound and see who you connect with.  The best dogs aren't pure breads.  The best dogs are rescues.  I have three dogs and they are all from the "pound".

Chinese crested. They are small and the hairless don't shed. And you CAN keep a dog in the house that long...what do you think everyone else in the world does? You think everyone who has a puppy and works stays home all the time? I don't think so....

I know the absolute perfect breed for you. A stuffed animal. You cannot leave a dog home lone for that long every day. All dogs make noise and almost all dogs shed. The only dogs that don't shed need a lot of grooming. So be kind and don't get an actual dog.
