I am going in a couple of days for an interview to volunteer and I have no idea what to expect. Has anyone been to one and know what they talk to you about and what questions they ask.

  1. Questions vary, depending on the hospital, the person asking the questions, the service you are going to provide, etc. One guarentee:

-- Why do you want to volunteer here?

Other questions that may be asked:

-- Tell me about an experience where you have helped children

-- Tell me about an experience where you have helped an elderly person

-- Tell me about an experience where you have helped someone who was sick or injured

-- Tell me about an experience where you have been under a lot of stress and how you handled that situation

-- What days of the week, and what times during those days, do you want to volunteer with us?

-- How will you get to and from the hospital?

-- How will you meet your commitment to volunteering and also complete your school work?
