What kind of rabbit do you think this is?

Question

He is a male, about 1yr 6 mos. Black, with very large brown spots on his rump/ lower back that you barely notice. He weighs approx 8lbs. I was just wondering if anyone knew what kind he was. I got him from a friend when he was about 6 mos and i never figured out what kind he was.

I doubt its a dwarf, its ears are too long.

The rabbit may be lucky but that recording was not.You need more lighting to emphasize his shape.

I assume he is a rabbity rabbit.Does it really matter.You see one youve seen them all.

I would say a black house rabbit, commonly found in the Middle Eastern part of the United States.  This Rabbit is worth a signifacant amount..................................... love.

He looks like a mixed breed between rex and Netherland Dwarf to me

it might be a mix its not a dwarf cause its 8 lbs. and its not a rex cause of the fur.
