  1. it depends what u want out of your pet if u want something to watch and display i would say amphibians but u cant handle amphibians (unless completely necessary) where reptiles make great pets to hold and play with

  2. A Royal/Ball Python

  3. get a turtle they are great pets and most dont bite unless you get a snapper i have 2 turtles and i can hold them n they are very friendly.

    Hope i helped!  =]

  4. get a jungle carpet python, rubber boa, sand boa, rosy boa or blue tongued skink

  5. If you are going for a reptile, may i suggest a snake?

The best snake for beginners is probably a corn snake. They enjoy human contact and are easy to handle and care for. A corn snake lives for around 15 years and is on average between 2 to 5 feet long when mature, with a wide variety of colours, from chocolate to amelanistic to snow.

They require a terrarium with a minimum of 20 gallons capacity(30'', 13'', 12'') and a heat mat as a nassesity to keep them at around 26-29 degrees.

You may want to get him a water dish, hide stones/boxes, branches and other natural props.   ------Improvise!

The best thing about a snake is that they don't require constant attention like mammals do, so the minimum you have to do is pop a defrosted pinkie mouse (they are about 30p) or a lizard, or a quail egg in every week or so  and watch it eat. It's really quiet a spectacle.

But to satisfy all your snake's (and your own) needs, you do need to handle them every so often and clean out the terrarium like with the rest of them living critters.

    Hope this helps.

      Have fun!
