  1. If they were honest they would say that a large number are finding that out when they are being told that they need several remedial classes to even qualify, and others are not even close to where they need to be.

I recently read an article, that less than 25% of the high school students were prepared to go to college; honestly that is a very low number.

  2. I've been on here long enough to know the kind of response you would get.  It would not be a pretty sight. (smile)

It is amazing to me how uninformed people are concerning homeschool.

Public school is all they know and they are brainwashed into thinking it is the only way.

  3. YSN you crack me up.  I always look for your responses---what a delightful sense of humor!

OK.....you post it in secondary education and teaching and we'll be here to read the responses and , well,  wipe up the blood.

And you are so right, when you look at "controversial" and biased views from a less politically correct perspective, isn't it funny how ridiculous the arguments become?

  4. <<giggle>>

You'd create a whirlwind there, but you'd get a bunch of chuckles here!  (I saw your previous post, and I completely agree.)

  5. I think you should go for it!

    lol.

  6. ;o)

Saw your original response to the question about college and homeschoolers.  I bet you get a flurry of responses to this one!!  And it is true that some colleges will max out spots for public schoolers and still have room for homeschoolers.

  7. LOL, well I'm at a disadvantage because I didn't see your "other question" everyone is mentioning, and since your Q and A is set to private I can't easily find it.

I imagine that you'd get a lot of people who would think it was a stupid question, and a few people would be ticked off.
