What kind of rock could this be?

I found this rock while walking one day in a park when I was little and I kept it. i came across this roock today and it is weird, It is almost perfectly rounded and almost looks like a egg. its grey and about the size of a golf ball...does anybody have any ideas of what it may be? somebody told me it could be a geode

Such description is not enough to conclusively identify the rock, pl. append a closeup picture for some clue.

Show it to some geologist or to some geology teacher of a nearby college.

If its a geode, bust it open to see if there are crystals inside.

Without a pic, its very hard to ascertain what it is. With a pic it still hard. You have to see it first hand for the best ID'ing.
