What kind of running shoes should I get?

I am running a 10 km race in a month. I used to have a pair of sauconys. I have a slightly narrow heel. I don't know what my arches are: my footprint has my heel and forefoot connected by a strip about an inch and a quarter thick. My old shoes were fairly evenly worn.

  1. try like nike air! or the nikes with usic in them! they really help and motivate you with the music and the nike air are easy to move in!

  2. Sounds like you have a normal arch.  I would get your new runners as soon as possible, never do a race in a pair of shoes you haven't ran in.  Go to a specialty running store and they will fit you properly for foot type, gait, etc.  I have a narrow heel and Mizunos and Brooks have been the best fit for me.  Also, you could tie you shoes differently to help fit better in the heel.

GOOD LUCK IN YOUR 10K :)

  3. I like New Balance the best.

  4. Jalen I do not know where you are from but if you have a Fleet Feet in you city they will have you run on a treadmill and record your running steps. It will show the bottom of your feet as well as where your foot strikes the surface. From that information they will custom fit you in a shoe.
