The starting salary is around $28,000 and as you move up so does your salary.

According to the article below, $14.00 an hour...but that is not entry level pay.  That is most likely an average of all TSA positions including people with several years of experience and supervisors.  My friend is from  South Dakota where there is a training  school for TSA personel and has been told by supervisors that that the average person hired is a 19 yr old high school dropout and they make minimum wage.  I don't know how long they would have to work to get up to the $14.00 an hour.
