  1. I expect better service!  The bartender is there for not only serving drinks but also a friendly atmosphere, the bartender should be promt in serving your drinks and keep them coming.  most people go to a bar to let loose and relax, the bartender should help with this.  They should give a little small talk as well to make you feel welcome and make you want to return.  And most important, they should earn a big fat tip!!

  2. I expect it... but whether I get it is a different story. Actually a bartender should give better service, because they can usually get a better tip!

  3. a smile and a drink

  4. I only expect them to get my drink fast, and correctly. nothing else. I'd wish they would put more alcohol in my drinks though, then I'd come back and tip more. lol

  5. I would expect him or her to be better than the wait staff.  Bartenders normally have an exceptional personality and can handle many differ ent kinds of people.  Looks like a great job to me.

  6. Shows they notice you when you walk up to the bar

Asks "what can I getcha" or "What'll it be" ?

Takes the cap of your beer

Goes light on the foam, if from the tap

Goes heavy on the Tequila for your Wife's Margarita

Asks, "do you want another" ?

Says thanks when taking your credit card/cash.
