I have a sewing machine that I got when my grandma died, and I'm wondering how old it is. It's not one of those really old table ones, but I'm guessing it's at least 50 years old. It's very heavy, and has a belt on the right side and a small motor on the back, and it is electric. It still works, although it's a bit of an adventure to use it. It has "American" written on the side, and on the base is a small gold plate that says "Zig-Zag Family Style." I even have the manual for it, but nowhere in it does it list any information about the make and model of the machine.

  1. The best I can suggest is looking through these images to see if you can spot yours (there are 3 pages of them..)

otherwise try these google images to see if you can spot yours or one that resembles yours and see if that leads you to the info you need,

    I hope you find it!
